Once again the Creation Network ministry, run by Brian Gale, has organized a fantastic opportunity to hear a recognised scientist, who also is a Bible believing Christian, defend the truth of the Bible accounts written in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible.
A direct copy of the leaflet has been made below with all necessary information, however if you need further information, please contact Brian Gale directly at: brian_gale03@yahoo.co.uk

For those who can make it, there is a Gospel concert on Saturday 6th September, 7.30pm at St. Deny’s Parish Church, St. Deny’s Rd., St. Deny’s.
The event is part of a group of concerts in aid of raising funds for urgent repairs to the church building, and hopefully raising the profile of the ministry in the local community.
The reason this is being promoted through United in Jesus also is for two reasons: Firstly is the fact that the locality of the church in relation to where we usually meet, gives us the opportunity to offer our support to other brothers and sisters in Christ right on our doorstep, as well as having a good time to boot! Especially bearing in mind that this is the night after our regular monthly meeting in Moorlands Community Centre.
The second reason is that a couple of guys from our own
church are accompanying the main singer, and have been silly enough to invite me to play keyboards too! Thanks guys, I can’t wait!
The event is a ticket only event, for the purposes as I have already stated already, and the tickets are at a cost of £5 each, which can be purchased at the Guildhall ticket office, or on the door at the venue providing some tickets remain. Just click on either picture for a more detailed view of the information.

Now the meetings in Moorlands Community Centre have become an established event, and we now have a clearer idea of who share in the vision of the ministry at United in Jesus, we have decided to focus our attention at the next meeting towards plans for the future in this area. There will still be a time of praise and worship to open the meeting, but the bulk of the time will be given to joint discussion and prayer as we attempt to set a course for the future of the ministry in Townhill Park and hopefully further afield.
If you are a Christian in the Townhill Park area of Southampton, or further afield if you don’t mind travelling, then you are invited to meet with us on our next meeting on Friday 5th September 7.30pm, at Moorlands Community Centre, Townhill Way. Those who have met with us before, and those who would like to meet with us for the first time are all welcome, and are invited to bring ideas and suggestions for future plans to display the love of God in the community locally. As we come together in faith, we believe that God will begin to unfold His plans for the area through the hearts of His people. It is our desire to simply walk in these ways by encouraging and supporting one another to acheive what the Lord has laid on our hearts.
As you may already know, the combined efforts of Christians from various churches locally, working together completely of their own accord, led to the “Drum4Fun” event being held recently, which was a real testimony of what can be acheived when we are willing to work together for the common purpose of serving Christ. We would hope that other events and services can be put into place throughout the area in a similar fashion, that will begin to establish trust with residents in this area, and in turn provide a clear way for the Gospel message to be preached.
If you are an individual or ministry on the fringes of this location, and would be interested in joining forces to see the Gospel advanced on a wider scale, then you would also be warmly invited. The only condition we apply is that together we can maintain our focus on taking the Gospel into the community, rather than bringing the community into any particular church or ministry. We have a fairly wide cross section of believers who are regularly linked with United in Jesus, all with a heart for the Kingdom of God above all else, and it is through this unselfish attitude that we believe God will be able to bless whichever ministries He chooses to through our faithfulness in serving Him.
Please pray for our continued growth in vision, number and resources as these plans begin to unfold, and if at all possible please try to make the next meeting. It is our utmost desire that all will begin to lay hold of our vision to see lives transformed at the touch of the Gospel message in this area, and we encourage all to rise up and willingly take up their role in seeing this acheived for the glory of Jesus Christ.
God bless you,
John Dunning.
