As my precious brothers in the Lord, (No sisters here at the moment stuart)  I just have to share this moment of praise with you all and know you will rejoice with me in this..

The Lord always answers prayer, always.

My husband, Manny has just left for Cape Town for 11 days on a Coke TV shoot that is looking to become a nightmare of a job from the outside, as everything was left by the production house until the last moment and it is a really big job. Usually in these situations, he is not sleeping, has headaches and is so stressed and ends up scared and  eek.. Nothing I said usually made any difference  - he was so afraid of the Lord wanting to teach him hard lessons that he did not want to learn, and so dug his heels in. I cannot tell you how many times the Lord has brought him to this point of 'stepping over the line' and he just backed off every time.

This time he has chosen to surrender all.

He has left in a gentle, quiet, confident place with the Lord, regardless of the outcome. He has finally been brought by the Lord to a place with Him, where he has stopped running and decided to let his life fall into the hands of the Lord fully. I have been praying for this for a very long time - years in fact. It was really hard to watch when I have been where he, is in different circumstances, and have stepped through with the Lord and know the relief and freedom that brings with it.

He has also come to accept that this job he is doing is fully of the Lord and that no matter what he tries to come up with to change his line of work, the Lord keeps closing doors and this one is kept firmly open. He sat with me before his flight and told me that he cannot believe how the Lord has changed him, and his attitude. He has been given a full heart-change towards the Lord's Sovereignty in many areas over the past couple of weeks. He has also been given an understanding that his life belongs to the Lord for Him to do with as He wishes and to help Himself to. I cannot tell you what this means to me as both his wife and his sister. I have so wanted to have him walk with me side-by side in his God-ordained place before the Lord.

I am overwhelmed with the Lord right now.

The Lord gave this Psalm to Manny many years ago when he was in a mess in Mauritius with a job that was an utter nightmare, and now He recalled it to Manny yesterday morning and he has a full grasp of what it means for his actual life now, not just his job.  Hallelujah, what an Almighty God we serve

Bless you  flowers

Psalm 34

 1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
         His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
 2 My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
         The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
 3 Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
         And let us exalt His name together.

 4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
         And delivered me from all my fears.
 5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
         And their faces were not ashamed.
 6 This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
         And saved him out of all his troubles.
 7 The ange of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
         And delivers them.

 8 Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
         Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
 9 Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
         There is no want to those who fear Him.
 10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
         But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

 11 Come, you children, listen to me;
         I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
 12 Who is the man who desires life,
         And loves many days, that he may see good?
 13 Keep your tongue from evil,
         And your lips from speaking deceit.
 14 Depart from evil and do good;
         Seek peace and pursue it.

 15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,
         And His ears are open to their cry.
 16 The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,
         To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

 17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears,
         And delivers them out of all their troubles.
 18 The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart,
         And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
         But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
 20 He guards all his bones;
         Not one of them is broken.
 21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
         And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
 22 The LORD redeems the soul of His servants,
         And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Hallelujah Steph! Praise God for His wonderful mercy and grace towards those who believe in Him!

It seems no matter how hard we may appear, or how set in our ways, He can overcome it all and mould us like putty in His hands. Amen!

There is rejoicing      in Heaven and on earth that another brother has returned to the fold.
