My Jesus

Awesome song and video!

New personal site/blog!

As previously explained, United in Jesus - Live! was intended to allow a clear mouthpiece for anyone visiting the website regularly, especially those who meet with us in "real life". Unfortunately the only one so far seeming to add content seems to be me, and to be honest it is creating a lop sided effect.

To avoid allowing the United in Jesus website to become a personal website all about my own personal views etc., I have decided to set up a new personal website to operate from. The address will be: www.heartcry.me.uk and should be up and running very shortly. I will still add a few things here on "live!", but the majority of my content will be found on the new site.

God bless,

John.

For this reason we have obtained mercy.

I know that in the light of Lakeland, there are now a growing number of those in the Body of Christ who think the message I and others are clearly stating right now is somehow "anti" God. I once very strongly also stood in a place of longing to see the saints of God marching out through the nations, calling down fire from Heaven for all to see, that nobody could deny that the Lord Jesus we proclaim truly is the Son of God, and the one and only Saviour to all who call upon His name. Some of the messages I have written in the past have been aimed at encouraging believers in the realm of spiritual warfare, longing that a core of believers would eventually rise up from within the Church to show the world the true power of the Holy Spirit, and also to stir up the hearts of those already confessing His name as Saviour to begin walking in power. On the surface there seems absolutely nothing wrong in this mentality, especially to those who really do love the Lord Jesus, for we all want to genuinely see Him lifted up. The problem is however, that the Bible gives us a clear indication that this is not the route by which this will ultimately be acheived.

In the words of Paul written to Timothy; "But for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, as a pattern to those being about to believe on Him to life everlasting.

A clear warning!

Here is an awesome video proclaiming so clearly, so loudly, and what's more; so SCRIPTURALLY, what God's voice is to His people in these end times.

Protection from deception.

As you will be aware, it is the most utmost conviction of my heart that all really is not well in Christendom right now, for so many of us are being lullabied by the devil himself into a perilous sleep. We may long for the rest, and it may seem just so peaceful and enticing, but the time to sleep is most definitely not now!

  • "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"
    (1Pe 5:8 KJVR)

The word for vigilant from the above scripture is gre?goreuo? and according to Strong's dictionary can be translated: "to keep awake and watchful". The reason I am so concerned and so determined to not shut up about this is quite simple really, and can be best understood if we would see the current situation of the Body of Christ in the Light of His Word.

In recent years, and on an accelerating scale, there seems to be more and more recorded "outpourings" of the Holy Spirit according to the Church. We hear of "revivals" such as Brownsville after the "Toronto blessings", and now Lakeland, Florida to name but two. However take a look around the internet, or on pretty much any channel on Christian TV, and you will find reports of other such outpourings. You will find many testimonies of genuine healing, financial breakthrough, freedom in praise meetings with a wonderful "sense" of the Holy Spirit in attendance. There are reports of gold dust appearing from nowhere, gemstones appearing out of the blue, and angels manifesting quite clearly. Believers are shaking, speaking in unknown tongues, and prophesying great revival. In fact you may now be thinking that I am some sort of raving lunatic to come against these things, especially when so many recognised church leaders are even embracing these moves.

Reason for revision of previous recording.

In the previous entry I made, there is a link to a recorded message I made a couple of days ago. As stated, I edited out a statement I made in the message, and I would simply like to make it clear why I did so.

I recorded the message out a desire to make a wake up call to those in the church who are what could be described as luke warm in their faith, that they would begin to take their faith in Christ seriously, or face the consequences. As a result, much of the message is aimed at making listeners realise the extent the Father in Heaven inflicted His own Son upon the Cross on their behalf. My desire was to shake the apostate into the realisation that at some point, God would hold those who reject His Son accountable for their sin to be sure, but those who call themselves by His name and yet have the audacity not to pick up their cross and follow Him; they would have their own special place reserved in Hell in that Last Day.

During this message I attacked the lie that is so often bandied around the pulpits of the Body of Christ, I once actually thought it was in Scripture itself! The lie is this: "God hates the sin, but loves the sinner." When this was spoken, it became such a controversial issue that it seemed to detract from the main thrust of the message when heard by those in my home group, so out of a genuine desire not to allow diversion to creep into the message, I removed this portion of it.

Examine yourself [revised recording].

The following message is a message I recorded exhortating listeners to examine themselves in the true light of God's Word in Scripture. The Bible says quite clearly in Jermiah 17:9 that the heart is deceitful above all things, and who can know it? It is clear from this statement that we MUST learn to examine ourselves in the Light of God's Word alone, for it is only by doing this we are able to truly understand what is in our own hearts, let alone the heart of another.

For those who may have heard the original recording already, a reference was made about God's attitude towards sinfulness and the sinner that was not clearly defined, and so for this reason I have removed it from this revised recording. Instead I will devote a new message to this subject that will make it clear what scriptures being stood upon in my original statement, and that the sentiment of the message was to bring warning to return to God, not condemnation to those who were still unsaved and dead in their sins.

God bless,

John.
